Burton Joyce Community Market Saturday mornings:
SOME REGULAR STALLS THAT MAY TEMPT YOU Lorraine’s Handknitting Stall Lorraine's scarves, hats, snoods are all hand knitted, here in Burton Joyce, using the latest fashion wools, to give both modern and retro effects. Great Cheese Co A taste of the finest, local, regional, handcrafted cheeses, preserves, honey and juices. Bread (Sold in aid of Send a Cow) Chris Knott runs the bread stall. The bakers are her brother Phil, and Lynette – Phil does standard loaves, while Lynette also makes more exotic fayre. The bread is hand-made. The proceeds all go to the Send a Cow charity, which provides livestock and training to some of the poorest families in countries like Uganda and Rwanda, enabling communities to achieve a productive and sustainable future. Drawings by Sally Smith Original drawings and prints of the drawings featured on the front of our local Parish Magazine are available, together with cards.  Commissions on request.
